“Observatory” suggests a journey that is transversal in time, made through ruins, remnants of sculptures, exotic plants, paintings, geometrical patterns, graffiti, prehistorical engravings and other cultural manifestations related to the unknown.
Through the juxtaposition of photographs of iconographic and patrimonial elements, that would otherwise be scattered in space and time, we put forward formulations on the notions of bewilderment, curiosity and amazement as generative seeds of collective cultural memory.
