Exhibition view at Galeria Municipal do Porto on occasion of Paulo Cunha e Silva Art Prize final exhibition (2018)
“We are discontinuous beings, individuals who perish in isolation in the midst of an incomprehensible adventure, but we yearn for our lost continuity.”
Georges Bataille, L’Érotisme
Animal Vegetal Mineral is an installation and six-channel projection occupying a structure that echoes a temple of dream and obscurity. This polyptych involves the viewer in a space of reflections, images and representations that are evocative of an oneiric state, unfolding introspective landscapes and nocturnal journeys.
This project was developed in the context of the first edition of Paulo Cunha e Silva Art Prize final exhibition.
We feel very honored to have been selected as the winner!
